Ok so here is what I have so far....I managed to make the image large by duplicating the pixels.
I have made the girl into a black and white stamp with slight detail.
Also attempted to remove the original graffiti by dodging and burning through the detail. I figured this was the best way to delete the graffiti without loosing any detail from either painting over or deleting. It seems to be working, but I feel I might need to invest a little more time in it to get the result I desire.
Also I decided if my other attempts at making graffiti fail, then I might hand dodge the graffiti on to the wall.

ReplyDeleteThe image seems to be coming along well, I look forward to seeing how the text looks on the wall. Compositionally, I wonder what the image would look like if you shifted the figure to the right and added more wall on the left. You should be able to do it with Photoshop pretty easily if you want to give it a try.
