Transition of thought, I took off some of the detailing from the center square. I also played with the changing of the background colors and began to favor how some detail was lost. It sort of softened the image. But I believe my favorite on is the last one which I will make into my pattern

First design idea....I want something Victorian with several different colors.

Ok so here is my final

I am still struggling with the composition of it. I felt my original idea with the font on the right side was too separated between image and font and I just wasnt happy with the look, I changed to font to the bottom of the page and played with the shadows and objects that way to transition in to the text.
